Welcome!

My name is Rachel McKinney, I want to thank you for taking the time to come and listen to my story and how living by Faith has continued to lead me in a contented and abundant life! At the age of seven I gave my heart to the Lord and now it is 2012 and I am in my 76th year. The information you will read is hopefully informative and exciting. This blog was started a few years ago just to talk about losing weight and being healthy and it's true I have been working on my health and my body for many years. But now as I grow older I find that my spiritual life even more than I ever realized before is entangled (and has always been) with the physical. This Blog now contains my daily thoughts about how it is for me right now. You can comment on what it was like for you and either how it is now or how you would like it to be.

Wellnes is simply following the plan

Sorry it's been so long since I blogged, but things are going so great with me! I'm now almost at 170 pounds - down from 205 on December 8 and 248 in 2005. Yes, that's true. I found some records and mid 2005 that is what I weighed. But the greatest news is that I have not been in the 170s probably since 1972. I'm wearing size 12 and some 10's. Wow!

It's just a matter of 1) eating correctly 2) exercising regularly 3) proper supplementation and 4) proper sleep. But, as you know, it's all in the details. For 1) I eat 5-6 times a day, small meals (around 200 calories) 2) I exercise at home with my own routine a half-hour to an hour a day and work with a trainer 3 times a week for a hour 4) I try to get 6-8 hours of sleep a night.

Proper supplementation, of course, means using glyconutrients 6 tsp a day; vitamins 4 a day; hormone support 6 a day; antioxidents 6 a day; digestive aids 3 a day; pro biotics 1 a day. All of these keep my body running like a top and give me the energy to work out each day and also keep up with a busy schedule. Oh yes, the end of March I added a new product. I take 2 in the morning 45 minutes before eating. It keeps my bones and joints working well.

It's hard to believe that I'll be 73 this year. My mother was an arthritic invalid the last 15 years of her life (she died at age 75) and here I am working out 5-7 hours a week and feeling younger than ever. I think maybe I've found the "fountain of youth."

Wellness is available to everyone. It is not a myth. I plan to live to 110. Join me!!!
